Efficiency thanks to soapwort

Nature is a huge source of inspiration for solving the problems of our time.

As well as the techniques experienced by the Ancients.

The solution came by combining the virtues of a plant used since the dawn of time for laundry with advances in research.

This plant is soapwort, “soap grass”: its name comes from the Latin “sapo” which means soap. This plant was used by washerwomen under the Roman Empire to wash clothes and clean sheep's wool.

Thanks to its mucilaginous secretions (saponin, a natural surfactant), it has an exceptional cleansing power.

In addition, it does not pollute the water, provides softness (natural softener) and does not attack the fibres.

Soapwort is perennial, grows very quickly and without the need for special products, which is in fact an extremely sustainable resource.

Efficiency thanks to the scientific study of textile fibers

Some parts of your dressing room deserve special attention if you want to keep them in excellent condition for a long time.

In particular, those made of noble materials (cashmere, Egyptian cotton, silk, etc.).

All our products are developed with this obsession: to achieve a perfect formulation adapted to each of the families of noble materials.

To achieve this, our laboratory uses the latest advances in the scientific study of textile fibres.

Thanks to the detailed analysis of the physical properties of each type of fiber, the mastery of plant biology and the exploitation of the chemistry of plants.

Efficiency through R&D onnatural surfactants

The surfactants, ie the elements that make it possible to separate the grease and dirt present on the cleaned textile to mix them with water before being evacuated, are all of vegetable origin WITHOUT traditionally used petroleum derivatives.

At "Lovin'My" we use surfactants derived from sugars extracted directly from European beets. These are added to saponin, a surfactant naturally present in soapwort.
